- My journey began 6 years ago, when I married my partner of 10 years. 3 days later he left to start a new job in southern Spain. I joined him 6 months later, for what I thought would be a year. A year quickly turned into 5. On New Year's Eve 2008, Mark asked me where I wanted to ring in 2009. Off the top of my head I said Sydney. ReplyDeleteHi Maya, oh such fond memories. Plaza Mayor was my favorite too and I enjoyed nice evening walks there watching the flamenco street performers and sampling a tapa and a churro (but not at the same time). Very cute guy in the photo. Great choice for this week's theme.
