VLA

This week's PhotoHunt theme is digital.

Thanks to digital technology the Very Large Array, in Socorro, N.M., has an impressive ability to tune in on black holes, supernovae and the rest of the deep space menagerie.

    YTSL I was back in the "Homeland" last summer, so this photo is less than a year old.

    I like this - and very different. Did you know that VLA has lost its federal funding. Weird to think that they may be shut down.
