This is the thread that ties the reflections, stories, adventures and passions of a Nuevo Mexicana who arrived in the Land Down Under via southern Spain.
This summer we noticed that every evening as we watch the sunset from our balcony these two planes pass over head. This "daily" event occurs at 8:05 p.m.. The planes are probably flying from Perth to Melbourne or Sydney.
My journey began 6 years ago, when I married my partner of 10 years. 3 days later he left to start a new job in southern Spain. I joined him 6 months later, for what I thought would be a year. A year quickly turned into 5. On New Year's Eve 2008, Mark asked me where I wanted to ring in 2009. Off the top of my head I said Sydney. In May we were packing our bags and heading to a new job Down Under. These are the stories of our ex-pat adventures. To learn more about me see my posts under lamaya.
How interesting! I used to have a slower-paced life, where I noticed such things. I think I need to sit out on the porch again, soon. :)
ReplyDeleteI played, too.
I was thinking the same thing - so interesting that they have the same flight pattern everyday.
ReplyDeleteHi Maya, great photo. They almost look like shooting stars. Beautiful sunset too.
ReplyDeleteI thought they looked like shooting stars as well:) I love watching the planes overhead and wondering where people are off to.
ReplyDeleteMrs. Mecomber, with the view we have it isn't hard to find time to sit on the balcony :)
ReplyDeleteMarta, they are always in the same place. It is like they are driving on road.
Kathy, Glenelg has some very beautiful sunsets.
Suzer, lots of planes take off and land just to the south of our flat and I always wonder where they have been or where they are going.
