No Back Scratcher Needed

This week's PhotoHunt theme is itchy.
High in the Peruvian mountains at Abra La Raya Pass locals sell their colorful handwoven wears. I found the alpaca wool used in the textiles to be very soft and not at all itchy.

  3. Love the photo -- and also loved the alpaca wool sweater I bought years ago (from a shop called Inca in London) and wore for a long time until huge, un-mendable holes appeared in it! ;(

  11. I have heard Alpaca wool is very soft. We had an Alpaca show here a couple of weeks ago, and Mom forgot to go..She was pretty itchy, so she may not have gone if she'd remembered.
    Pretty colors in your Hunt!
