A Horse Of Course

This week's PhotoHunt theme is memorial.

This memorial is for the horses which took part in the Great War from 1914-1918.  It is located in Adelaide's Central Business District on the corner of East Terrace and Botanic Road.  It was enveiled January 30, 1923.

  1. Hi Maya, that's a great photo and choice for this week's memorial theme. That's so cool that they built this wonderful memorial. Have a great week.

  2. Hi Kathy. I was going to go with a different picture but realized I had already blogged about it. I just happened to notice this Memorial outside the bus window last week, so ran out yesterday to take a photo! Hope you enjoy your long weekend.

  3. That's a wonderful memorial Maya and how important horses were in those days, even in war. Still are in Australia even now, if just for racing.

By the way, I am an expat Australian, living in Canada for a very long time. Glad you popped by to visit my PH.
