It undoes years of educating people that Koalas aren't bears. I also wasn't happy with the girl holding the platypus. I hope people don't come to this country, expecting to be able to do something like that. There's no way it would have been a male one or she would have been very sick.Dianne Duncannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4182916967420365852.post-42380319783417011532010-06-04T06:08:34.820+09:302010-06-04T06:08:34.820+09:30Hi Kathy, I really hope you make it to Australia o...Hi Kathy, I really hope you make it to Australia one of these days. If you are Down Under while we are here you will have a personal tour guide in Adelaide--if your willing to walk a lot ;-) I've actually talked to several people who don't live in Australia who like the ad. I was re-watching it night before last and realized that in the picture in the car the driver is sitting on the wrong side.
Well, I am off to the Northern Territory for about 10 days. I have posts coming up, but due to being in isolated I won't be commenting for about the next 10 days. Talk to you then.

Baresytapas, thanks for stopping in.Mayahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03542884740418230212noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4182916967420365852.post-1166991905489749982010-06-03T05:16:12.333+09:302010-06-03T05:16:12.333+09:30I entered this site by chance, but I found very in...I entered this site by chance, but I found very interesting. Thanks to you, Australia is definitely moving up on my must see list. It's too bad the campaign isn't catching on. Interestingly, Scotland did a similar campaign last year when they launched a 250th Anniversary Comming Home worldwide campaign to celebrate Robert Burn's birthday. And from what I read they were successful and it gave a boost to tourism there. It wasn't the sole reason for me going but it did sweeten the deal. Hopefully australia's campaign will pick up and produce more interest, because like you said I think we should all experience this wonderful country. And I think Australians are some of the friendliest people that I have met during my travels. I wish them luck.Trekcaprihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00104236389771077449noreply@blogger.com
